A very serious fire started on the Betty's Bay side of Pringle Bay (near the 3 Flavours guesthouse) and rapidly spread. Much of Pringle Bay was severely affected, disaster struck a few homes but by the amazingly good work by both the local fire volunteers and the municipal and broader Western Cape Firefighting teams, the impact was limited.

Go to the Otter Blog to see video clips of the otters - they were caught on camera marking territory on several nights. It is such fun to be able to get a glimpse of them. Thanks to Duncan for these. We were advised on 6th February by Pringle Bay that Councillor Krige will be holding a Public Ward Meeting at 1800 hours on 7th February. Everyone is welcome
