Help Us Learn More About Our Baboons!
Everyone has unique experiences with the Rooiels baboon troop on their properties. We are collecting information about these experiences as part of an ongoing research project led by Joselyn Mormile from the University of Cape Town. By participating in this project, you will help us better understand how humans and baboons interact in Rooiels.

You can help the project in two ways:
1. Please share any important sightings of the baboon troop, such as births, injuries or interesting behaviors. Your sightings (and photos) are a great resource for this project and the community!
2. Please report when the baboons have entered your home. These reports will help us understand more about baboon decision-making. If baboons have entered your home, don’t feel embarrassed, it has happened to all of us!
