The main objective of this community website is to provide useful information for residents and visitors to Rooiels. It is designed to share news and to be a source of knowledge about our flora, fauna and environment and to provide links and connections. The community also has an active Facebook page (Rooiels Gemeenskap) and has set up, but is not yet using, a Twitter handle (See links on the Key Information page). The community also has several WhatsAp groups for security - contact the RESA office for details.
We would like to continue to expand and deepen the information available on the website and ask you to send in relevant information or links. We hope that this will be a quick source of information for anyone wanting to know more about the wonderful nature that surrounds us. We would love to have your feedback and interesting links or articles as that keeps us motivated and keep the website current! We would like to add your photos to the Rooiels Fieldnotes and the Social pages.
