Membership is mainly intended for Rooi-Els ratepayers. There is a “non-ratepayer” member category but this is currently fully subscribed-with a waiting list!    For information, please contact the committee.

Events & Activities
REBC sponsors various local projects, such as the erection of many wooden boardwalks in Rooi-Els and gives donations to KAWS and certain local schools.

The club’s AGM is held during the Easter weekend and towards the end of the year an annual Kreef Derby is organized.  The Club, being very safety conscious, holds annual “boat surveys” where craft are surveyed and licensed in accordance with national requirements.

Our History
The REBC was formed to regulate, control and organize local boating and fishing activities . The slipway, built many years ago, had become a source of irritation and danger to those who wished to use it.  With the formation of the Boat Club, a control boom was erected and the slipway was repaired. Access via the boom is limited to key-holding members, the authorities and NSRI personnel.
