They are not supposed to be taking crayfish close to the shoreline and it is highly illegal after dark. There was another vessel seen at around 0200 on 19th December fishing close to shore. You can also report them to the Hermanus 24 hour: 028 313 2703. Shore-based poachers reports should be to the Kleinmond officers indicated on our website under Key Information.
